Office Chic from Liz Lange

Dressing for the office can be a challenge when you’re expecting. You might be confused as to what to buy and how to put it all together, but Liz Lange knows how to create easy, comfortable, stylish looks that will get you through whatever your day at the office might bring. Liz suggests dressing to impress with a selection of work basics that will carry you from meetings in the boardroom to casual Fridays.

Office chic tips courtesy of Liz Lange:

*For most, business casual is the everyday work attire. The best way to dress for this is to focus on key pieces: a pencil skirt, black pants, a streamlined knit dress, a black jacket and a sleeveless top. Once you have these, you can create a full wardrobe by adding a few standout pieces.

*If business casual isn’t an option and you have to wear a suit, buy the foundation and then add in key pieces as you go. A dress, skirt or pants and then a jacket, paired with a few key pieces such as sweaters and blouses will give you more than a week’s worth of dressy office attire.

*For casual Fridays, you can take it down a notch, but it doesn’t take a lot to look sloppy. Choose your separates wisely. Save the denim for the weekends and stick with simple skirts, tailored pants and cozy sweaters.

Reliadose®

As we all know, babies usually do not like the taste of their medicine. When Brianna was younger, I had a challenging time getting her to take medicine with a syringe. The few times I was successful in placing it in her mounth, she would end up spitting it out on her clothes. I thought I was outsmarting her by adding it to her milk, but was always concerned with it being so diluted that it would not be effective. I only wish I knew about this great product back then :)

Invented by a mom, ReliaDose® works with a baby's natural desire to feed, providing an easy and precise way to give medicine to a baby. It can ensure complete and gentle dosing of over-the-counter and prescribed liquid medication, as well as for liquid vitamin/mineral supplementation.

It is comprised of a patented dual-chamber nipple, bottle, and dosing syringe. The dual chamber nipple does not allow for mixing of the medicine from the inner chamber and the bottle liquid from the outer chamber until it enters the baby's mouth. This masks the taste of the medicine while ensuring accurate dosing.

The 2 oz. (60 ml) bottle can be filled with whatever baby likes to drink, such as formula, juice, or milk. The 5 ml syringe, which fits inside the specially designed bottle, allows for medicine to be given at a rate comfortable for the baby while ensuring the right amount of medicine has been delivered.

I used Reliadose® recently for my 9 month old nephew and he had no problem taking his medicine. It was very easy to use, provides accuracy and is designed to be used over and over again. After use, simply separate the parts, wash in warm soapy water, and rinse thoroughly. The components are also dishwasher safe!

ReliaDose® is exclusively manufactured for distribution by Blaine Pharmaceuticals, trusted for more than 50 years to deliver quality products for better health. It is available for purchase online or at your local CVS or Kroger store!

**Recommended for babies 0-18 months and not for use with sterile medications.

Joy Mangano - My Little Steamer

Every mom should own a steamer and what better one to own than the Joy Mangano - My Little Steamer! It is a very sleek, convenient 850-watt steamer that gets your wrinkles out in minutes without the hassle of ironing (and pulling out the ironing board).

The steamer comes with three attachments - lint, soft-bristle and firm-bristle. It has a removable steamer cap, water-level window, comfort-grip handle, and its very own matching drawstring bag. Available colors for the steamer include platinum, linen, sage, wedgewood, yellow, black and lavender.

I used my sage colored Joy Mangano - My Little Steamer on window panels, dust ruffles, clothing items and anything else I found that needed steaming. It was very easy to use and only needs regular tap water (no additives necessary). The final results were superb!

The Babysitter PlaceTile

I was delighted to use the new Babysitter PlaceTile recently! It is the perfect tool to keep all the important information for your child's sitter in one location. It also saves you time and ensures that the information will not be misplaced (like sticky notes).

The placetile itself is in a beautiful neutral color and will go with any home decor. It comes with an erasable black marker and you can write the place you will be, phone numbers, doctor info, hospital info, medications (really great when they are sick), allergies and any notes (such as no sweets before bedtime) on it.

My sitter (Michelle) actually loved the idea of having one place to get information for Brianna and it gave her a sense of comfort. I wrote everything out prior to her arrival and kept it up on the fireplace mantel which would keep it visual at all times to Michelle.

The Babysitter PlaceTile is a great asset to both babysitters & moms and will definitely be used for all Brianna's sitters (even Daddy).

It is available online - so grab yours today!

Fiber One - Raisin Bran Clusters

Looking for delicious cereal that can also add more fiber to your diet? Try the NEW Fiber One Raisin Bran Clusters! It has 11 grams of fiber with each serving and is #1 in fiber among other leading raisin bran cereals.

We enjoyed Fiber One Raisin Bran Clusters this past weekend for breakfast and it was tasty! The raisins were plump and definitely bigger than other cereals I have tried before. Also, the wheat flakes had a touch of sweet and the clusters were yummy.

So, the next time you travel down the cereal aisle, make sure you pick up your box of Fiber One Raisin Bran Clusters!

Update!

The Stylish Mom has just purchased a new house! I am really excited about it - even though I am sitting here with tons of boxes around me. As I continue to unpack and get more settled, please enjoy our previous posts and click on some of my favorite links to the right.

I have found myself going shopping every weekend :) and will have tons of home ideas for you real soon - especially the new decor of my little toddler's room. I picked pink & purple butterflies for her theme to match a really pretty window panel I got at Pier One. However, its been challenging to find the comforter set.

Next week, you will see great products on here from Pixie Dust, FiberOne Raisin Bran Cluster Cereal, Storkcalling, My Lil Steamer and many more coming soon!

Enjoy your weekend and stay cool!
