Baby Einstein - My First Signs

Hey Baby Einstein fans! You will be happy to know a new DVD has been released called "My First Signs - See and Sign with Baby. " As you know when babies grow, their eye-hand coordination begins to improve as their ability to interact with their surroundings blossoms. This cool video is a playful introduction to 20 common words and phrases from baby's world - including "mommy", "daddy" and "I love you" - both spoken and in sign language. I remember the common one that Brianna did was the sign for "Eat" but I know this video would have been helpful before she started talking.

It also features delightful puppet shows, real world images and beautiful classical music, this captivating program presents fun ways for you and your baby to interact on a whole new level! Amazon has it for less

Stylish Closets

All moms know the importance of organization - whether its the kitchen, closet, kids room, garage or office - its a part of our life on some level. I came across this great company that offers its services to help you organize your entire home. The Closet Factory has over 100 stores across the country and its worth a try to get a FREE DESIGN CONSULTATION. Also, if you make a purchase you can receive a free installation by making an appointment here.

However, if you want to do your own organization project join HGTV's "Get Organized Spring 2007" - it starts in April and will help you get rid of clutter and organize your house/life for good :)

Car Seat Covers & Shopping Cart Covers

Spring is on the way and I was thinking about changing the car seat cover for my 2 year old with something more jazzy - so I did my regular web search. Several sites came up that I want to share with you. Some on the high end and some on the low end. I am also that mom that constantly thinks about all the germs on shopping carts and restaurant high chairs so I wanted to sprinkle in those finds as well.

I loved the designs at Ritzy Baby - they were modern and chic.

Stylish Murals

My last post was about Stylish Playrooms - so I wanted to continue with a look at a few mural designs. With murals, you have the option of either hiring someone to come to your residence and paint the walls OR purchase a kit and do it yourself. I have a few pictures with both options.

These pictures are courtesy of Mural Environments

These Do It Yourself Kits are courtesy of Murals for Kids

Stylish Playrooms

I am currently in the process of converting one of the extra bedrooms into a playroom for my daughter. It has been on my mind to do for the last couple of months, but I have no idea about themes, items, etc. My initial thought was it will be an excellent place for her toys to be stored and I wanted to find some cool things for her to do in there like dress up, tea party, maybe some soft tumbling toys like at Gymboree.

So, today I did a search for kids playrooms - the ones below are found on the KooKoo Bear Kids site

Books for Stylish Moms

All Stylish Moms know the importance of reading to their children. I carve out 20-30 minutes each night to read to my daughter. It is also instrumental to read around them - whether it is a newspaper, magazine, romance novel, etc. It mainly teaches them that reading is apart of life and they may end up finding a corner, grab a book and mimic what you are doing :)

I have a wide variety of books for my daughter (including everything Dr. Seuss wrote), but I wanted to showcase some books here for Stylish Moms to read!
